crickets at the beach reflects stinson beach itself:  it's a hodgepodge of character, its laid back and friendly, colorful and unique.  our goal is  a creative combination of functionality and whimsy , meeting the needs of beach goers and locals alike.  the majority of our store is items made by local artists, green and fair trade products.  it is definitely a West Marin kind a store.  we welcome kids with ice cream cones, wet salty dogs, sandy floors and impromptu nosh sharing on our outside (or inside) bench.  crickets at the beach online is simply an extension of this ...

About the Owner

co-owners cricket and mimi are lifelong friends who grew up together building driftwood forts, having roadside fossilized sand dollar stands, collecting rattlesnake grass from the foothills of mt. tam and going door to door visiting all our beloved neighbors in our wonderous town of stinson beach, california.  five years ago we were able to become a part of the stinson beach community in a very grown up way- by becoming business owners of crickets of the beach.
